Arenal d’en Castell

Arenal d’en Castell is a larger and perhaps a little more lively holiday village with more bars/restaurants and shops than Coves Noves yet without the hustle and bustle of a larger resort. The safe, large golden sandy beach is in an enclosed circular bay and is suitable for families, couples and children. The seabed slopes gently. There are watersports (pedalos, rowing boats, diving) available between May and October.

Distance – 800m, 8 mins walk, 3 mins by car.

There are a few pleasant bar restaurants around the beach and a small square where there is space to park.

Distance – 1.5 km walking, 15 mins or 1.8 km by car, 6 mins.

Addaia

Addaia is a quiet yachting marina village with a mixture of residential and holiday properties. There are diving and fishing trips available in the small port.

Distance – 8 mins by car.

The north of the island remains relatively undeveloped and is noted for its pine trees.
There are many opportunities for varying activities including walking, cycling, driving, diving, wind surfing, boat hire, golfing, horse riding, visiting nature reserves, ornithology or simply lounging around on the beaches. There is indeed a
choice of the quieter ones
through to larger ones.
Generally, Menorca’s
northern beaches are quiter than the southern beaches yet the nearby northern ones do still offer their own watersport activities. Of the quieter beaches there is a range from the fairly small yet fairly accessible through to the more secluded variety of beach. Menorca is reputed to have around 150 beaches – so take your pick!

Na Macaret Na Macaret is a beautiful small coastal village with a small, but lovely golden sandy beach.
